 An FC6 Ferranti Tapchanger (tap changer) shown with the divertor switch compartment open, the cover raised and safety catch in position. The bridging resistors can be seen mounted on the diverter switch assembly. The cover to the timing gear compartment is removed revealing the timing gear, Geneva wheel, counter and step switch.
