above picture show the Ferranti Tapchanger (tap changer) DS and
ES range Moving Contact Arm Assembly. The main components of
the moving contact arm assembly consist of the Spur Gear, the
special moulding, contact bearing pin, roller contact, moving
contact lever, cable socket, compression spring, castle nut,
disc washer, bridging resistor. All components are manufactured
to original material specifications and drawings. There are several
resistors and the bridging resistor values will be dependent
upon the individual transformer that the Ferranti Tapchanger
is attached to. |
